My photomontage is called, Im always watching”. After looking at the directions page and seeing example artists, I found myself drawn to Jerry Uelsmans Photomontages. I think that black and white photography has a stronger effect on me than color. Black and white seems more dramatic or eerie, especially in Jerry’s work. I like the idea of having multiples of myself, so i thought it would be interesting to make myself creep out of the water in multiple places. I am always watching, from the river to the sky. The fact that my image has eyes all over it reflects my belief that we are always being watches, even when we think we are all alone in our little secret safe place.
